ABOUT The Landing,
IN LEAGUE CITY

The Landing is an established community of homes in League City, Texas, located just off FM 518 about one half mile west of I-45.   This location is midway between Houston and Galveston, less than 15 minutes from Baybrook Mall, NASA, the new League City Town Center complex and Walter Hall County Park, which includes extensive recreational facilities and boat access to Clear Creek and beyond.    Depending on your mood, you can be dining in Houston or on the beach in Galveston in about 30 minutes.

It is comprised of approximately 800 homes, constructed in the 80s.  Home prices range from $ 98,000 to $ 140,000 with home sizes ranging from 1100 to 1900 square feet of living area. The neighborhood is served by a community pool and recreation area, which includes two tennis courts and a new playground.  As an established community, we are located completely within the civil infrastructure of League City.

The Landing is in the highly acclaimed Clear Creek School District.  It is served by Clear Springs High School, Victory Lakes and Creekside Intermediate Schools and Ross and Bauerschlag Elementary Schools.

TRASH & RECYCLING!


Tuesday and Friday are trash days.

Recycling pick up is on Tuesdays! Get your recycling bin from the water department at City Hall. (adjacent to the library).

Paper:
All types, including news-paper, magazines, cardboard, corrugated paper and packaging materials.
Cans:
Aluminum, tin, and steel.
Metal:
Aluminum foil and some scrap metal.
Plastic:
Marked Numbers 1 through 7, including milk, water, detergent and juice jugs; plastic soft drink bottles; and polystyrene food containers and cups.
Glass:
We DO NOT accept glass of any kind. Glass creates many serious safety problems during the recycling processes of delivery and sorting.


Glass Recycling

New Recycling Drop Off:  League City is going green. A glass recycling drop off location has been set up at the League City Public Works building at 1535 Dickinson Avenue.

At this location, they also accept oil, oil filters and antifreeze.

The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.


Heavy Trash
pickup is on Friday.
